BAD TIMING

Amy and Sallie smiled shyly at their future husbands. Crashkachu laughed loudly and the crowd cooed at the cute tiny baby in Amy’s arms. Cortex sniffed noisily and rubbed his eyes with tissue.
“I can’t believe it…my own baby daughter Sallie…getting married with a gangster.” He sniffed proudly and blew his nose loudly. When they stood next to their future partners, they turned and gazed deeply into each other’s eyes.
The walrus priest walked up the small steps and stood in front of the four lovers. He cleared his throat at full volume.
“We are gathered here today to witness this beautiful day of Dr. N brio with Amy and Pinstripe Potoroo and Sallie bandicoot.” Sallie felt her heart flutter inside her chest. Amy cuddled with her bouncing joy , gaved Crashkachu to Brio and Sallie squeezed tightly on the large bouquet of red roses. The Walrus Priest turned to Amy and Brio.
“First, with Brio and Amy…” The priest said his lines and Amy and Brio lovingly agreed to marry each other. Sallie’s throat tightened when he turned to Pinstripe and Sallie. Sallie looked up to Pinstripe lovingly as the priest said his lines.
“Sallie Bandicoot, would you take Pinstripe Potoroo, to be you lawful wedded husband?” Sallie sighed happily. Amy beamed next to her friend, their double wedding was going extremely well. Crashakchu gurgled happily at Sallie in Brio’s arms.
“I do...” She said breathlessly. Pinstripe grinned evilly and Sallie blushed brightly. The priest smiled and looked up to the audience.
“If anyone thinks that these two should not be together, let them speak now, or forever, hold their peace...” Sallie and Pinstripe smiled at each other when it was soundless...until...
“Me!” called out a voice. Everyone gasped and spun around to the source of the voice.
